The castle grounds are always accessible from the waterport (visiting-hours). The grounds are usually grassy with full-grown trees, while in the season there are benches placed around. The castle walls contain look-out areas onto the Vltava and Otava Rivers, and a look-out point onto their confluence is under preparation.
